Public safety and emergency communications specialist, Airwave Solutions Australia, will participate in the APCO (Association of Public Safety Communications Officials) Australia conference in Melbourne, 14-17 March. As Australia’s new alternative for highly resilient and interoperable public safety communications networks, Airwave will present an important paper highlighting the core benefits of interoperability, plus sponsor the Gala Dinner entertainment at Crown Palladium.

John Lewis, Head of International Business for Airwave, will take the floor on Tuesday 16 March at 3:30pm. His presentation will explore how interoperable networks can enhance the ability of emergency services teams to respond to both planned and unplanned events—such as terrorist attacks, natural or man-made industrial disasters, or planned special events. The experiences of the UK will be used to illustrate how a shared, multi-agency network can streamline communications and save lives.

Airwave Solutions Australia will also sponsor and speak at the Gala Dinner at Crown Palladium on Tuesday evening. Here, delegates will be entertained by Natalie Gauci, winner of Australian Idol 2007, along with M2 Illusion and Dance Spectacular.

Boasting an impressive heritage in the provision of managed services for the public safety communications industry, Airwave Solutions Australia promises unrivalled network resilience, security, coverage, responsiveness and interoperability for a wide variety of public safety agencies. Committed to using best-of-breed technologies to provide high-availability, highly functional shared networks, the company is the only Australian provider with a dedicated and independent focus on safety communications.
